Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Hillcrest a great one!
Hillcrest is holding in-person church services on Sundays at 10:30 AM during the Yellow phase of the New Brunswick COVID-19 Recovery Plan. In-person services will not be held during Orange, Red or Lockdown phases.
LOCATION & DIRECTIONS
Here is our address, or you can get directions to the church via Google Maps.

Our building is wheelchair accessible. There is an exterior wheelchair ramp at our main entrance and a power access door near the back of the church. Reserved parking is available near both accessible entrances.
What can I expect?
What will happen when I arrive?
We have ample parking available. Our main entrance is closest to the (very tall) Church tower. Once inside, you will be greeted and asked a few health-related screening questions. You will need to provide a contact name and phone number for your group, per government regulations. Masks are required inside the church building.
You will then be given a booklet that has information about everything going on at Hillcrest and enter a socially-distanced line to wait to be seated. One of our ushers will then show you to your seat(s). The ushers will ensure that you will be properly distanced from other families.
What happens in a church service?
Services begin with our band leading the church in music. Song lyrics will be projected so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable, but don't be nervous if you don't know the words! After the opening music, we will share some announcements, which is followed by a message from our Pastor that is based on the Bible. We will end the service by praying to God and singing another song.
What's the culture like?
Sundays at Hillcrest are friendly, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. In general, dressing modestly is appreciated, but people wear a range of clothing from t-shirts+jeans to suits+ties.
will i have to give money?
Giving to the work of the Church is only intended for members or regular attenders. If you are visiting Hillcrest there is absolutely no obligation for you to give! If you feel God is leading you to donate to Hillcrest, you can do so HERE.
What about my kids?
We believe that children should feel safe, loved, and have fun learning about God and His great love for them. At this time, we are not offering nursery services or children's programs, so children will remain with their parents throughout the service. An usher will provide your children with an activity pack.
